Amazing and Adorable!!!Tiger Electronics FurReal interactive white persian cat with blue eyes. She measures about 17" long and is in a lying down position. She moves her head back and forth and purrs when you rub her back. She also lifts her tail and sometimes hisses. You can find complete instructions to play with them on the Hasbro.com website. Require 3 "C" batteries (included) and has an on/off switch. She works great and in Excellent condition! She does not have her brush. She comes to you from a smoke free home.

I bought the 3 different colors for my grandkids. This white one has one downfall. When it is loved by a youngster, it becomes very dirty. So, for practical purposes, I would purchase the gray color instead.
This cat purrs and meows when given attention. It you pull its tail, it hisses at you. The eyes are gorgeous, and almost hypnotic. This is probably a good way to see if your kids are ready for the “real thing” without harming a cat.

This little kitty is sooo cute and sooo much fun. When my 2.5 year old daughter saw it she started yelling, “want kitty, mommy!!!” over and over. She then picked the box up by the little handle and carried it all over the house. So she had fun with it before I even opened the box. Once we finally got it out of the box, she yelled and laughed with delight as she played with her new cat!! My dog enjoyed it, too.
I gave it 4 stars for education value because I think it’s great for helping me teach my daughter about how to be gentle with animals. The fact that it responds to kindness with kindness and hisses when you’re mean to it helps teach cause/effect. When the kitty hisses I can remind her that it’s not nice to pull a kitty’s a tail. I’d rather her learn this way than to pull a real cat’s tail and get scratched. Overall, I think it’s an adorable toy that is fun for the whole family!!!

This kitty is very realistic, and very sweet looking. Sit it on the back of a chair or in your window, and it looks like a real cat sitting there. It arches its back when you pet it, it turns its head into your hand when you scratch its neck, it meows, hisses if you pull its tail, and it is truly wonderful. The fur is high quality for faux fur. We can’t expect it to have real animal fur now can we? Also, we can’t expect it to walk around, eat, drink, or pee. The key word is “toy”. You can’t expect more than this for the great price. If anyone wants a kitty to do more than what this one does, than may I suggest that you save up several thousand dollars and pay a visit to a robotics company. This toy is going to be very desirable this Christmas, and it would be a shame that some children may not get one because of some parents thinking with their critical adult minds, instead of thinking like a child. Thats what is so wonderful about the good toy makers, they think like children, not adults.
Also, even if it is not in stock right now, alot of parents come here to read the reviews before going out and buying the toy. It is very helpful. Of course, the best reviews come from kids themselves.

This toy is just like a real cat. If you pull on her tail she will whimper. If you brush her hair she meows. If you call her name she comes. If your dad or mom is alergic to cat tell them to get you the fur real friends. They are just like real cats. I was so happy when my mom got me this fur real friend for Christmas I was so happy I opened it while we were still opening presents. That’s how excited I was. Take my advice. Get this toy.

On Monday November 11, my mom bought me a white Fur Real Friend as a really early Christmas present. Unfortunately, she forgot to buy the batteries, so the next day on Tuesday November 12, she got the batteries. When I played with Princess (that’s my Fur Real Friend’s name), she was really amazing and cute. I love this toy and it rocks! It’s the purrfect present!

My four year old HAD to have this cat. I finally found her and she loves it. Her favorite thing to do is comb it’s hair but I have gotten my money worth out of this cat. I’d have to say although it doesn’t do as much as I had thought it would she definately loved this cat…We call her Sally.

I bought the white Fur Real kitty for my 9 year old daughter this Christmas. She (and I) absolutely loved it, but it only worked for about 1 hour and then “went to sleep” and never would wake up. We tried several new sets of batteries and then returned it after Christmas and will wait for a new shipment. It is a really cute toy, and very realistic, except that the body area is very hard and could use more padding. If you can’t have a real cat due to allergies, this is a fun substitute. It makes many of the moves a real cat makes, and is happy to sit on your lap and be stroked!
Being a mechanical engineer, I can appreciate the difficulty involved in making this cat both realistic, with all the sensors, and robust against children (and their fathers) “testing out” the cat’s reactions by pulling it’s tail, etc.
I recommend the toy; but be gentle with it, and be prepared to return it for a replacement.

My girls love cats. I don’t. So they asked if they could have these. The got them for Christmas and love them. They hiss, meow and purr like real cats. The both have spots in the house where they live and they’ll talk to you like real cats. Every night when we turn out the lights both cats meow. It’s something we’ve come to expect and it’s cool. Like I said, I don’t like cats, but if real cats were like these, I would.

One of the overlooked values of this toy is the comfort and joy this cat brings to a person residing in a Nursing Home where live pets are not allowed. My wife is such a person and she suffers from dementia caused by a stroke nine years ago. She adores this cat and thinks of it as real. She talks to it and sleeps with it each night. She has named it Mimi and “Mimi” provides her with great relief from the anxiety which often accompanies residency in most Nursing Homes. The only problem associated with the cat is that it is so admired by the other patients (as well as the staff) that care must be taken to ensure its safekeeping. Toys such as this can sometimes be enjoyed more by adults than by children. Keep up the good work!

My daughter LOVES this toy. She takes it everywhere, and that is where the real fun starts.
While children know about this toy, many adults do not. Watching the adults react is very entertaining. Adults can’t take their eyes of it because they aren’t sure if it is real of not. One person thought I gave my child a “stuffed” cat.
Its a lot of fun!
